It was the Big Run today, but it was not the Trek Through Hell that I used to speak of in days gone by; in fact I find – in retrospect that is – that I quite enjoyed it. What was most rewarding for me was getting changed afterwards. Seeing what vaguely looked like a book on Oct 1917, I asked Christian – “You a Communist?” “Marxist” came the, as yet, unqualified reply.

At last, I thought to myself. After months of what I considered relative isolation, I have found someone who professes to be of the same political faith. Who said there were no Marxists around here! As far as I can see, with the possible exception of the Upper 6 th, the Marxist element has risen by 100%! Steve R, however, is as near a Marxist as makes no difference. I am not building castles in the air as yet, but this could be the first small step in achieving a YCL branch in Brid.

Watched Fawlty Towers. Need I say more; the usually pains in stomach, tears in eyes, convulsions, slapping of thighs….etc. ad infinitum. After a recovery period, in which I watched a Man Alive report on gays (pederasts), I read more of “The Condition”.
