3.1.1976 Sewerby Hall

It occurred to me this morning that Steve might be back, so I gave him a ring. Went through to his place in the afternoon and stayed there until the party happened. He's got a superb walkie talkie set, with aerial and a transmit/recieve range of up to 20 km at sea. I couldn't wait to try it out, so he persuaded his Mum to let him take it (it is, as yet, unlicenced) out. We went to Sewerby and had a very good time. A few ounces of rum kept the cold out quite effectively. I sat on the cliff and we had a great conversation - he was at Sewerby Hall the wonders of science.
Went to Ann', party in the evening it soon became apparent that people had not been bringing their fair share of drink and consequently the party was dry by half past ten. to add to this, Suzanne had to be taken to casualty after recieving a nasty cut on her finger. I remember the girl whose fault it was - Heather - because she was particulally drunk and anti - social at Tim's party. to add to this, she caused a great scene with her boyfriend.
But, for me, I enjoyed myself, a friend of Lyn's became a friend of mine (Vicki) and apparently for the same reason (problem solving) when she kissed me on the cheek, it was worth a million careless ones.
Anne was the perfect host and I wish I could truely say that the party was as beautiful as the hostess.
Rang Lyn up today and we had a little chat. From some of her questions I gathered that she really is pregnant.
