2.1.1976 horrible

Didn't get up until dinner time and passed a very lazy day.
A really huge storm broke in the evening, winds at about 60 mph, heavy rain and very cold. I began to pity all those out on a night like this. I got a horrible suspicion that it was tonight that Steve and his Mum were coming home - by sea I had horrible fears that they would drown, but these soon mellowed into a sort of apprehension.
Looked back over my 1974 diary - the first diary that was something more than a mere narrative. I had really poured out everything I felt in mammoth sections. Some of the things I had written still hold true today, but others were so outrageous and erronerous that, by all rights they should have been deleted. Take Julie (yes please!)(sorry) for instance. I had labelled her as a whore - moody and bitchy to boot!! The only reason that it remains is because it reflected what was happening at the time in my mind. However, I did add a footnote.
My diaries are open and frank. As such they are dynamite and could easily be used against me - with disastrous effect! Who would take into consideration that my opinion of a girl had changed , after the dread words had been spoken and written.
