Got some valuable work done today and gained some valuable insights into Cromwell’s character. He’s a really great man in personality, as in deeds and actions.
Went out in the evening (not like a light, however). Tim and Nige couldn’t make it, so Steve and I decided on an intellectual night. A pint of lukewarm lager did us little good, although a short, following it did a little to alleviate the situation. We went to Grandad’s, cracked open a bottle of Bordeaux ( sorry about the bourgeois decadence, lads) ...ostensibly to discuss Milton. Very soon our conversation degenerated into a certain girl’s predilection for manual experiences with a certain part of her equine companion’s anatomy (i.e. a horse-wanker). Recalled some of the times in the Dark years, which we managed to laugh over, here and there...quite a lot really.
We had the house in Flamborough, England, for generations. My ancestors were the village blacksmith so it holds many memories. It is a listed building as a blacksmith at some time in Flamborough. My Mum is Pat, my Dad, Peter. I attended St. Oswald's Primary School, Flamborough from 1963-70. I succeeded in passing my Eleven Plus examination, and therefore gained myself a place at Bridlington Grammar School for Boys. I hated science, physics and games! (I am swimming of brill!) I chose to attend Selwyn College Cambridge after sitting and passing the Oxbridge entrance exam; I won a scholarship to attend. I studied graduated English Lit. for which I attained exams and received a Master of Arts.(photo grants'-left) I went to Japan from 1980-83. I also learned Karate in Cambridge. I worked in Tokyo as a teacher of English to business men and adults. Whilst in Tokyo, I was involved in a car accident, which resulted in me being unable to carry on my work out there. I am currently living on the outskirts of York with my parents.
