1.5 NF called

Remained in Brid for a haircut this morning then returned to a day of almost criminal inactivity. I watched the cup final, more to drink in the atmosphere than watch the actual football. Manchester United were beaten 1-0 by Southampton, although it meant little to me.

The NF called off their motor cavalcade in Bradford. About 100 of our supporters turned up dressed as clowns with false noses and balloons to stage a sit down on the road. The police removed them, but it appeared a generally good natured affair. The NF – whose policies can best be summed up by saying “Hitler”- should be smashed. They have no pretensions to democracy and are led by psychopathic gangsters – Tyndall, Webster, Fontayne – who employ neo – SA groups to “steward” their meetings. We will have to be careful, for a comparison with the Nazi Party of 1928 and 1934 shows exactly the threat existing in Britain today.
