Today must mark another milestone in the history of communism at our school. Paul C. wants to join the YCL – when I gave him the address he told me that he already had one (London) which means that he was ready to join already. He says that Nick H. (who earlier had expressed an interest) is likely to join, especially if there’s a local group to attach to.
Sold a few raffle tickets and met a few people who said they would buy one. Things are looking very bright, it is essential that I get a meeting together soon (say when I get back from France some time), while the revolutionary fervour still lasts.
I hope to get in touch with Tim and Nige, who could prove valuable in getting some Headlands kids along - what about High School though, it’s essential that they are contacted and the maximum support mobilized. Trevor and Karl said they might be able to bring a few along with them but were not sure. Workers of all countries unite!!
