Broke up today and got the first report of the 6th form. Was pretty good but as usual showed the old “could do better” sort of inferences.

What a pity it is that Benny and the rest of us cannot easily get together over the holidays for a night out: Benny loves at Hornsea, Trev at Hunmanby, Spint – some outlying village, only a few in Brid. Over the next holiday, Steve and I will hire out a room and have a party more to our tastes than the ones we’ve experiences in the past – it will have sort of a more intellectual, unforced overtone. The music will be the best in progressive, but not played so that it’s impossible to make yourself heard. The birds there will be non-whores and I’ll know many of them (certain of them I wish to know better).

The floor is there for those who wish to dance, while for those others there will be tables and chairs. The bar will sell drinks and the party end at about midnight. Tim and Nige will be invited but as small a proportion of their friends as possible (e.g. Anne, Suzanne and a few others) – the recipe for a megalithic night out.
