Got a quite reasonable amount of work done today, above all, my English.

Had a debate on the Committee in the dinner hour – it’s quite a controversial topic. As far as I can see, most people believe it a good idea to have one – those who say there is no “us and them”, teachers do not possess arbitrary power and the committee, by this corollary isn’t meant to achieve anything, there are those of us who see that petty oppression does exist in the school and that only through a committee could this be eventually changed. The key word, albeit against my principles, is eventually.
