8.5 Mowed

A blisteringly (!?) hot day today, well into the sixties. Went to the Library in the morning and chose two books which should be a mine of information – or at least get the old brain ticking: one on the psychology of interpersonal behaviour, the other, my first book on the nature of history.
Mowed the lawn – which took up most of the afternoon because the equipment must have been less efficient than a sickle and it was the first attack of the year. Trev and Collette came in the afternoon, having biked from Brid, with Matthew. He’s a strong lad for only five. Collette now looks 100% recovered from her confinement; her figure’s looking even better now than it ever was before her pregnancy.
