Cricket was rained off today, which gave me a good chance to get some valuable work done. I’ve done reams and reams of essay, account, criticism and discussion which, for the most part, have been read by none other than the form tutor and myself. Besides, who wants to read them besides this intimate circle (if a couple can ever constitute a circle that is); however I plan to keep them to see how my views mature over the years. They may even be of more general interest in small scholarly circles if I have (great?) success in that field...yet how many MA’s papers are of” general interest”?
A sluggish evening, although I did read some of a ‘Che’ biography. For an American writer, it was surprisingly less biased than I expected.

- We had the house in Flamborough, England, for generations. My ancestors were the village blacksmith so it holds many memories. It is a listed building as a blacksmith at some time in Flamborough. My Mum is Pat, my Dad, Peter. I attended St. Oswald's Primary School, Flamborough from 1963-70. I succeeded in passing my Eleven Plus examination, and therefore gained myself a place at Bridlington Grammar School for Boys. I hated science, physics and games! (I am swimming of brill!) I chose to attend Selwyn College Cambridge after sitting and passing the Oxbridge entrance exam; I won a scholarship to attend. I studied graduated English Lit. for which I attained exams and received a Master of Arts.(photo grants'-left) I went to Japan from 1980-83. I also learned Karate in Cambridge. I worked in Tokyo as a teacher of English to business men and adults. Whilst in Tokyo, I was involved in a car accident, which resulted in me being unable to carry on my work out there. I am currently living on the outskirts of York with my parents.
