Greater drifts of snow today and I woke up feeling great and enthusiastic. It was beautifully white outside; I would have a mentally stimulating morning and an afternoon training with the flail. To round thhttp://www.blogger.com/e day off, a good drink/discussion evening at my Grandads.
After distributing some leaflets in Brid, I came home and prepared for the afternoon. The is really a great new experience and after a couple of hours I was becoming more proficient and confident. Another couple of weeks (or less) and I’ll be able to say to anyone “Right, no fists; flails!” However, I still profess to be a non-violent person and would not use any unnecessary violence or pointless violence. As a final resort, violence is necessary in self defence. In a political cause I would be prepared to run the risk of (a quick) death, but more October 1917-ish than IRA ’76 style, i.e terrorism. Engels openly condemned terrorism (after a bomb exploded in London 1888) and Marx would have done the same. Had a great evening at Grandads place. Me, Steve, Pete and Steve R. got through five pints, half a bottle of vodka and a litre of wine (well, it was more plonk than wine [cost £1.80]).
