Gave my mates the prints of original photos today. They were all pleased with them.
Got a letter from Trevor McI in Scarborough. It boosted my morale and I discovered that my letter did him good. He said there were five members of the NF (SA, students assoc not Sturmabteilungen). Things look pretty difficult in Scarborough – the YCL is not organised, but the Fascists are. That is a challenge! I’ve got some good sly tactics up my sleeve to deal with School Fascists. We’ve a lot in common: both in the League a year, both the same age, both doing similar A Levels and both keeping a small red dot on a large blue map. Now I’ve made contact we can arrange anything. He seems pretty keen to get through and do some planning which appeals to me. He sent a photograph; wow! His sister! She is really beautiful. He looks like a lively political animal – we’re all political animals in some ways, but not anarchists or terrorists.
