We break up tomorrow – I’m glad of the chance to rest, but strictly speaking there is no time (except the sacred Saturday night) that can be idled away with complete lack of guilt. I say to myself: “I’ll take it easy this afternoon” and consequently do nothing...later on I’ll say to myself “What a waste of time, when I could have done this or revised that”....and it can only get worse as the A level exams approach.

Spent the usual afternoon working under the supervision of negopascm Dibb....he’s one hell of a hypocrite for one who claims to be a staunch Christian (one of these people who distribute Gideon Bibles).

Had an argument today – very bitter and malicious at times – with Hogg, over the nature of Communism. It developed to a more than lively debate, with Benny, Steve, etc, being reduced to a mere audience. I held my ground however and lost no face for myself and the movement.
