It’s a couple of weeks now since I’ve been in touch with Steve F or even longer with Trevor. The idea of the Bridlington Branch*, while still possessing great potential, has been shelved after further setbacks – Paul C and Nick are joining the Navy this summer, so they are out. Still, they’ll retain some sympathy with the Marxist cause and if they do leave the services..... S is still on her own, but she looks round less as if someone has re-assured her that she is not being stared at by everyone. I was quite surprised to discover she is pretty accent less – well spoken, but as far removed from Bourg-talk as my accent (albeit not as strong as 2nd generation i.e. parents Flamborough)
Did some work in the evening – some research on Henry VII. Not a bad man, he had his head screwed on the right way (sorry about being so trite).
* The Marxism seems to peter out from here on!!

- We had the house in Flamborough, England, for generations. My ancestors were the village blacksmith so it holds many memories. It is a listed building as a blacksmith at some time in Flamborough. My Mum is Pat, my Dad, Peter. I attended St. Oswald's Primary School, Flamborough from 1963-70. I succeeded in passing my Eleven Plus examination, and therefore gained myself a place at Bridlington Grammar School for Boys. I hated science, physics and games! (I am swimming of brill!) I chose to attend Selwyn College Cambridge after sitting and passing the Oxbridge entrance exam; I won a scholarship to attend. I studied graduated English Lit. for which I attained exams and received a Master of Arts.(photo grants'-left) I went to Japan from 1980-83. I also learned Karate in Cambridge. I worked in Tokyo as a teacher of English to business men and adults. Whilst in Tokyo, I was involved in a car accident, which resulted in me being unable to carry on my work out there. I am currently living on the outskirts of York with my parents.
